The aim of the meeting is to discuss differences and commonalities across disciplines, to raise challenges and possible paths to address them.
To this end, the format of the meeting is very different from usual conferences. Not all participants will have dedicated slots to speak and present their work. Instead, we will have about 4 sessions – each revolving around a major theme in theoretical biology. In each session, speakers from different disciplines will present their view on the topic, and ample time will be dedicated to discussion among all participants.
In addition there will be plenty of time for informal discussions in smaller groups.
